P.E.T.R.A. an introduction by Pastor Robert
When I first became a Christian I was introduced to the writings of Hal Lyndsey (The Late Great Planet Earth) and threw myself head long into all the wonderment of that last book of the Bible, the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Having been a Christian for some 30 years now and in full time ministry for a good portion of that, I am all too aware of how these Biblical texts can often be misused and misinterpreted.
Still, a consistent and literal reading of the Bible will lead you to some frightening conclusions regarding both the state of the world and the church within it. Discussing and unpacking these things in a correct manner is absolutely vital for the maintenance of sanity, safety and integrity, but talking about it is not enough. If the Bible is correct, in that all aspects of humanity and the heavenly are moving to a prescribed conclusion, then we must stop talking and start doing something about it! We need an assembly of people ready to act and ready for action.
P.E.T.R.A is designed to do exactly that. We were pleased to welcome international speaker Andrew Strom at our first event last October.
